Unless otherwise stated, defibrillators referenced in this application have been reported by users. If device problems are reported, Le Bon Samaritain does his best to treat this report as soon as possible.

Intellectual Property

Le Bon Samaritain hereby informs users of Staying Alive that many elements of it:

- Are protected by copyright law: this may notably photographs, articles, drawings, animated sequences, audio recordings or as digital video ...;

- And / or are protected by legislation concerning designs; As such, any reproduction, representation, use, adaptation, modification, incorporation, translation, marketing, partial or full by any means and on any medium whatsoever (paper, digital, etc.) for all dissemination throughout the world shall be subject to prior written approval from Le Bon Samaritain.

Confidentiality

Limitation of liability

You use the application Staying Alive under your sole responsibility. Personal data processing

Finality of collection of personal data

The collection of personal data through the various forms present in the application aims to:

By submitting the form and checking the form's consent check box, the user expressly agrees that the personal data will be processed for the purpose of customer relationship management.

The personal data collected in the application result from the voluntary communication of information via the forms present in the application. These data are exclusively collected for internal use and for the good functioning of the "Citizen Responder" in partnership with the emergency services (firefighters, EMS).
The processing of these data has been declared to the CNIL under the number 1854514

Google Analytics

The collection of personal data through the Google Analytics audience tracking tool used in the application aims to:

Analyze the behavior of users in the application in order to measure their audience and improve their performance.

Google Analytics uses third-party cookies to distinguish users. Cookies are text files installed on the Internet users' terminal. They contain no nominative information, only identifiers created randomly.

By browsing the application, the user expressly agrees that the personal data collected by Google Analytics are processed for the purpose of analyzing the behavior of Internet users to improve the performance of the application.

Duration of conservation of personal data

Data collected via forms is retained until the account is deleted by the user.

The retention period for sent data that is associated with cookies, or user IDs is 13 months.

Confidentiality of personal data

The personal data concerning you and collected by the application are only intended for the operation of the Citizen Responder and will only be exploited as part of the request made via the form. Under no circumstances will the personal data entered and sent on the forms be transmitted, leased or marketed to unauthorized third parties. Employees of the Endowment Fund have signed a confidentiality agreement which obliges them to respect the confidentiality of the data under pain of sanctions.

Personal data storage location

The app and data hosting servers are exclusively located in the European Union. Le Bon Samaritain undertakes to make no transfer of personal data to a State which is not a member of the European Community.

However, no transmission or storage of personal data is ever completely secure. As a result, we can not guarantee the foolproof security of the information transmitted or stored on the hosting servers.

Medical information in Staying Alive won't substitute for any medical advice and may not be used to establish a diagnosis or treatment. This information is intended to enhance, not replace, the relationship between patient and physician.

Advertising

Staying Alive does not accept and does not receive advertising funds. The application is fully financed by Le Bon Samaritain own funds.
